Hybrid DAS
(Distributed Antenna Systems)
Intelibs HYBRID DAS (HDAS) provides indoor/outdoor coverage and capacity with the flexible and scalable system architecture that is well suited for variable venues. This includes single high-rise buildings to multi-building complexes, such as, Corporations, Campuses, & Hospitals.
Intelibs HDAS is designed to provide the multi-carrier and multi-technologies so the system is capable of serving carrier and technology agnostic coverage and capacity solutions. This system was designed to operate in low power consumption so it can function from the existing electric circuit. This “Fiber to Antenna” design is for the coaxial cable, which may not be installed due to the building structure limit.
HDAS is comprised of the tree hierarchical system structure from the headend Radio Hub Unit (RHU) to the middle Fiber Hub Unit (FHU) to the Remote Unit (RU). This tree system minimizes the cable pathway occupancy by running the fiber / coaxial cables. This structure enables the user to reuse the existing fiber infrastructure to provide the wireless coverage.
MAIN LINK UNIT (MLU)
The Main Link Unit (MLU) performs fiber conversion and RF signal conditioning in DAS. It features 4 RF inputs and 1 fiber optic port, supporting high-band and low-band multiplexing with 400 MHz and 200 MHz bandwidth, respectively, over a single fiber strand.

HYBRID DAS FHU
The Fiber Hub Unit (FHU) splits the optical signal from one to four ways with active RF conditioning and gain balancing. A single FHU can expand the remote connection from the headend units (MLU/RHU) to up to four remote units (SRU/MRU). The unit can be cascaded to a second layer of FHUs to expand the number of remote unit connections up to sixteen in total.

HYBRID DAS MRU
The Mid-power Remote Unit (MRU) receives the optic signals, converts back to RF, and amplifies the output to feed the DAS antennas. It has two amplifiers for conditioning high and low bands (four bands total); supporting up to 33dBm transmitted per amplifier.

HYBRID DAS POINT OF INTERFACE UNIT (PIU)

The Point of Interface Unit (PIU) conditions and attenuates the carrier signal from the RF source. It includes band-specific filter modules to support duplex or simplex input, conditioning the RF signal levels for both downlink and uplink. The combiner module can be used to combine the inputs of up to four filter modules and split the output up to two DAS headend units (i.e. MLUs).

HYBRID DAS RHU
The Radio Hub Unit (RHU) interfaces with carrier RF sources to convert RF signals into optical signals for indoor and outdoor applications. It supports Over-the-Air Link with dual band or MIMO configurations. Can support configuration where GPS signal is transported alongside cellular-RF signal
