Remote Fiber Link

Use Case

Most large venue hosts multiple wireless carriers for the DAS project. It will be ideal if all wireless carriers equipment can be located in the same room, however, it may not be always feasible to find the large space to accommodate all carriers’ equipment. Furthermore, there might be the case that the carrier may want to use the existing equipment located in the neighbor building. There must be a way to interconnect remote the carrier’s equipment with the DAS headend within a limited pathway that the coaxial cables may not be run through.

Solution

Intelibs Remote Fiber Link Solution is to provide innovative RF over fiber link that can transmit multiple radio frequency bands over a single optical fiber. It also provides versatile interface to feed the carrier’s RF source over wireline as well as wireless so that the remote wireless carrier’s equipment can be fed to the DAS headend in cost effective method. Intelibs RF over Fiber solution is also scalable to support from single sector to multi-sector configuration with simple hardware addition. This is the Swiss Knife Solution for various venue types and is applicable to numerous projects.

Neutral Host DAS may not all carrier’s RF equipment in the same headend room. Intelibs RF over Fiber solution enables the Neutral Host DAS operator to feed the remote wireless carrier’s RF source over a fiber optic cable after convert the RF signal to wavelength. It also provide the add-drop fiber port for the carrier to aggregate different technologies within the same sector over the same optical cable.
